Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technician specializing in transmission work to diagnose, repair, and maintain transmission systems on a variety of vehicles, with an emphasis on Chevrolet and GM models. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and replace manual and automatic transmissions

• Perform advanced diagnostics using factory scan tools and equipment

• Conduct thorough inspections and communicate findings to service advisors and customers

• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards for quality and safety

• Stay current with Chevrolet/GM training and certifications

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Mentor and support junior technicians as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience with a focus on transmissions

• GM or ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality repairs
