POSITION: Resident Services Coordinator

REPORTS TO: Resident Services Manager

COMPENSATION: Salary, plus benefits, and eligible for bonus

LOCATION: On-Site, multiple properites

 

SUMMARY

The On-site Resident Services Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Resident Services Manager and the designated Asset Manager to assess the needs of residents.  

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the development and implementation of specified programming at assigned properties.
  • Oversee and serve as a liaison to outside vendors regarding residents at designated properties.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with residents, reporting upward needs for the implementation of new programs.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Services Director on the creation of the program budget.
  • Maintain data collection for HIPPA compliance (i.e. Sign-in sheets, resident communications, events, etc.)
  • Coordinate supplies needed for program events.
  • Act as liaison with outside vendors

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social work, or education preferred.  
  • 2-5 years experience with group education/training development and facilitation
  • Must be fluent in Spanish 
  • Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
  • Basic computer knowledge with MS Excel, MS Word, and Apricot Systems
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work.
  • Ability to utilize resources effectively.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work between 2 locations
  • Excellent communication skills (writing and speaking), strong problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed and takes initiative.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed for events

WORK CONDITIONS 

You are required to work both inside and outside of the office and in all areas of the residential property, including amenities, and have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperature, weather, odors, and landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous.  This includes working in climate-controlled office space, cubicles and outdoors on assigned properties.  Noise level is moderate to loud due to company event facilitation, foot traffic, telephones, and office equipment.  

 

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 

To successfully perform the essential functions of this role, the Employee must be able to engage in routine physical activities such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, squatting, and using hands for typing and handling materials. The position requires the ability to access all areas of the property—both interior and exterior—in varying weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and wind. 

 

Employees must be capable of lifting or moving items up to 20 pounds and possess adequate visual abilities, including close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel may be required for training, property support, or other job-related needs.
