Specialized Services Lead

Position Summary:
Provides support to Specialized Services performance. Ensures Default Services Team provide superior customer service, oversees audits on accounts which have been outsourced for work and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and consumer lending laws. Incumbent will directly supervise vendors by monitoring and evaluating work performance and productivity through reports, reviews, and ongoing training. Duties will include problem solving and analyzing work methods in order to improve department effectiveness and maximize utilization, effectively communicating with the management team to reach departmental and corporate goals, complying with corporate policy, and upholding federal and state regulations, and providing support in a dynamic environment:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Covius or other vendors to properly maintain legal letter database apprising Compliance and other areas of changing state requirements

Provide oversight and administration of NOI/AOP letter process

Provide oversight and administration of the RTC/SCL letter process

Work closely with the Risk Mgmt., Compliance and Digital teams to automate processes

Support the Specialized Service team ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to applicable laws in the completion of all processes

Actively measure and monitor Allied Solutions and/or other outsourcing vendors as chosen for business process outsourcing functions

Convey appropriate and necessary changes due to laws and regulations

Work closely with and respond to the Compliance Department on CFPB, state and local audit requests

Creates and executes cross-channel business deliverables

Supports the development of strategies, workflow processes, and process management for relevant areas.

Properly structures Specialized Services to ensure compliance and SLA�s are met within Default Services.

Active participant in meetings with team members to develop long term and short term departmental objectives and goals.

Support and implement reporting mechanisms to keep senior management apprised of performance levels, developing trends, and workloads.

Support the team performances objectives ensuring compliance with corporate policy, and upholding federal and state regulations.

Execute measuring & monitoring metrics to ensure Default Services Success.

Develop and implement best practices to acquire, train, motivate, and retain staffing talent needed and properly support organization for optimal results

Monitor and report performance and operational metrics with regards to both third party vendors and internal groups

Communicate business goals and expectations with specialized services team.

Monitor and measure compliance policies for third party vendors that ensure compliance to policies and procedures are met.

Keeps up to date on internal and external compliance procedures and laws including unique requirements at the federal, state and district level

Primarily responsible for ensuring the Default Services performance objectives are met, complying with corporate policy, and upholding federal and state regulations.

Review vendor invoices to ensure timely payment and appropriate services are performed.

On occasion, attend court hearings/trials either in person or telephonically. Travel and overnight stays may be required.

Required Experience:
Three years related experience with a background of involvement in two or more of the following: Legal, Recovery, Repossession, Remarketing, Bankruptcy, Primary BCPI insurance policies, Total Loss insurance, Loan Documents, or Gap Waivers
Education:
High School Diploma / GED
Additional Requirements:

Overtime required � required on an as needed basis.

Travel 0-10% - as required on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to work in a flexible team environment! Capacity to handle multiple priorities ensuring deadlines are met or negotiate new timelines. Must be flexible in scheduled time to complete assignments. Creative thinking in discovering solutions and redefining processes. Embraces change and challenges status quo.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Access.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
