Registered Nurse - 1:1 Community-Based

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse (RN) to support a young woman with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a 1:1 community-based setting. This is a rewarding part-time opportunity for an RN who is passionate about making a meaningful impact in someone's life by providing consistent, person-centered care.

You will play a key role in helping her achieve greater independence while ensuring her health and well-being in a supportive private home environment and within the larger community.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess the individual's health status; communicate observations to supervisor and family.

• Promote overall health and wellness through nursing best practices.

• Foster open, respectful communication with the person supported and their family.

• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily logs.

• Assist with community outings and daily activities.

• Administer and track medications as prescribed.

• Monitor and document seizure activity.

• Accompany the individual to medical appointments as needed.

• Attend all required state and agency trainings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or Bachelor's in Nursing).

• Valid Rhode Island RN license required.

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with RIDOH guidelines.

Schedule & Pay

Full-Time 40 hours | 1st Shift

Flexible hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $39.00/hour
