Annual Salary Range: $99,938 - $110,271 + superannuation

Employment Type: Ongoing, Full-time

Location: McKell - Haymarket, Sydney | Hybrid working with days onsite each week

 

About the team

We are looking for a motivated and organised studio coordinator to join the Video Production and Content Team within the Department of Customer Service. This high-performing team produces video and multimedia content for business units across the Department of Customer Service.

The Video and Content Production team works collaboratively with a variety of other teams such as the brand, social media, stakeholder engagement, and more.

This new role supports agencies such as SafeWork NSW, Fair Trading & Regulatory Services, Building Commission NSW, Service NSW and more in achieving communications objectives and is responsible for the coordination and operations of a new purpose-built video production studio serving agencies across Government.

About you

You are a motivated and creative team player with experience in an event, creative or video related role. You understand key production stages, including consultation, preparation, live switching and post-production while liaising with diverse stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements. With a solid appreciation of technical standards, technologies and accessibility requirements, you can work with a team to deliver high-quality engaging events.

 Whilst DCS offers flexible working arrangements, this role necessitates a high degree of attendance at our Sydney Office and the successful candidate will need to work out of the Sydney Office throughout the week as directed.

 Your day-to-day

  •  Coordinate, manage and provide support for live stream events.
  •  Prepare and set up the studio for events and film shoots.
  •  Balance studio maintenance and upkeep alongside other competing priorities.
  •  Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  •  Operate with a sense of urgency and the ability to deliver under pressure.
  •  Excellent and collaborative team culture.

  • Excellent time management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • A genuine interest in technology and live event environments.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and professional outlook.
  • Demonstrated experience with scheduling, booking and coordinating studio activities
  • A commitment to ensure studio and equipment are in a state of readiness
  • Lighting, Audio and Technical skills (highly regarded)
  • Previous experience in a dedicated video/film studio environment (highly regarded)
