At the YMCA, our Welcome Center Associates are the first friendly faces that members and guests see when they walk through our doors. This team is the heartbeat of the facility—providing outstanding customer service, answering questions, and ensuring every visitor feels valued and supported.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet members, guests, and program participants with warmth and enthusiasm
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about YMCA programs and services
- Conduct tours of the facility for prospective members and guests
- Assist with member check-ins, registrations, and account updates
- Support members with questions, concerns, or service needs, ensuring positive resolutions
- Collaborate with staff across the Y to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Previous customer service experience preferred (but not required—we provide training!)
- Passion for building community and helping others succeed
