As an Individual Contributor, this role is responsible for defining the product strategy, driving innovation, growth, and financial impact while seeking to meet customer needs by bringing simple, best-in-class solutions to market. The role partners across the organization to deliver strategic outcomes, optimize deposit growth, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Strategy and Planning: Sets the product vision and objectives in line with market, business, and customer needs and opportunities. Defines Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and roadmaps and is accountable for realizing committed results. Builds out requirements that address dependencies, partner needs, and the holistic customer experience, while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
- Insights and Analytics: Engages in quantitative and qualitative analyses to understand the state of the business and identify key opportunities. Defines key metrics and partners with data and finance teams to build transparent reporting that informs executives and stakeholders. Uses customer feedback and forecasting models to drive iteration and long-term returns.
- Execution and Enablement: Ensures effective execution of new capabilities and maintenance of existing ones. Collaborates with channel, strategic analytics, operations, and marketing teams to drive sales and service results. Defines increments of work to accelerate go-to-market timelines and monitors outcomes for continuous improvement.
- Risk and Compliance Management: Partners with compliance and risk teams to meet operational, financial, model risk, and vendor management requirements. Stays informed on regulatory updates and ensures product alignment with evolving standards. Drafts and reviews deposit-related materials including disclosures, forms, and customer communications.
- Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in banking or financial services, product management/marketing, analytics, strategy, or equivalent roles, with exposure to deposit products.
- Process and project management experience, along with working knowledge of relevant banking compliance regulations, is required.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required, including pivot tables, charts, complex formulas, and large data file management.
- Advanced knowledge and skill proficiency in business acumen, critical thinking, customer experience, decision making & judgement, laws & regulations, product management, cross-functional collaboration.
- Intermediate knowledge and skill proficiency in financial acumen, product development, quantitative & qualitative research, risk management, technology acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product roadmaps, write clear requirements, and understand complex systems and workflows.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. Ability to manage multiple priorities autonomously and adapt to change.
