We’re seeking a passionate IT Project Manager who will play a pivotal role in supporting our IT Operations and Security Projects and our Rapid Innovation Center (The RIC), specializing in leading initiatives related to our Innovation Framework, Technical Partnership Program, and Business Development Enablement. The role demands hands-on involvement, business acumen, leadership, and close collaboration with internal stakeholders across multiple, cross-functional teams as well as external partners. This multi-faceted role requires a highly collaborative team player who can move seamlessly between planning, project, and team mentorship/leadership.
Responsibilities:
- IT Project Planning:
- Collaborate and define the IT Operations and Security roadmap: Work cross functionally with senior engineers and technical leadership to create IT roadmaps that align with strategic technical goals while ensuring company objectives and enabling our customer missions.
- Manage project lifecycles, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery of outcomes. This includes working across functional roles with senior engineers and technical leadership to define product scope, create timelines, manage dependencies, and mitigate risks.
- Stay updated on emerging digital and business trends. Collaborate with other business leaders to integrate digital opportunities into our business strategy, ensuring we remain at the forefront of technological advancements. Be more than just a project planning manager be a contributor to IT strategy.
- Serve as project lead/scrum master of an agile delivery team. Lead team ceremonies and ensure the timely delivery of work on the team by addressing delays, roadblocks and other risks that arise.
- Set/Enable the team for agile ceremonies and processes by applied best practices.
- Track multiple smaller initiatives across the IT Operations and Rapid Innovation Center.
- Ensure appropriate communications with leadership and the employee community are achieved and seamless adoption of IT corporate initiatives.
- Assist with managing cost, schedule, and performance logistics associated with successfully delivering key outcomes through the IT Operations team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and company divisions to adequately prepare and execute projects.
- Ensure team meets customer satisfaction goals and objectives through a variety of measurement strategies.
- Enable a continuously improving and iterative culture that thrives on improvement and outcomes

Required Qualifications
- All candidates must pass public trust clearance through the U.S. Federal Government. This requires candidates to either be U.S. citizens or pass clearance through the Foreign National Government System which will require that candidates have lived within the United States for at least 3 out of the previous 5 years, have a valid and non-expired passport from their country of birth and appropriate VISA/work permit documentation.
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Mass Communications, or a technical discipline. With ten years of professional experience and at least four years of specialized experience, a degree is not required.
- 6 years of experience in Information Technology project management or related field
- Experience leading projects, programs, and contracts for federal government customers within the GovCon industry.
- Experience as a Project Manager and Scrum Master
- Experience with Project Management, Managing Schedule, Costs and Teams
- Experience establishing relationships across teams and company divisions, ensuring project success.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Team oriented collaboration skills
- Due to the nature of our customers, candidates are required to hold US Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience successfully negotiating license agreements with external vendors/partners.
- Experience performing Contracts or Subcontracts Management.
- Experience with LLMs and Agentic AI technology
Working Environment:
eSimplicity supports a hybrid work environment operating within the Eastern time zone so we can work with and respond to our government clients. Expected hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern unless otherwise directed by manager.
Occasional travel for training or project meetings in the DMV region. It is estimated to be less than 25% per year.
