Acute Care Medical Provider-
- Salary Range: $113,506 - $141,887 based on relevant years of experience - PRN rate is $125/hr

Role Overview:
Longview opened in December 2023 as a collaboration between Larimer County and SummitStone - we provide comprehensive, collaborative, and multidisciplinary care for behavioral health and substance use. In addition to the existing Crisis Walk-In Services, Crisis Stabilization Unit (16 adult beds) and Withdrawal Management Unit (16 adult beds), we are opening an Adolescent Unit (8 beds for adolescents aged 12-17) in the Fall 2025.
The advanced practice provider (PA or NP), will provide professional services in the evaluation and treatment of clients at our acute care facility. The primary focus will be behavioral use and substance use needs of our clients.
Essential Duties:
Major responsibilities of this position include: function as the medical team representative to a multidisciplinary treatment team designed to offer comprehensive behavioral health services; evaluate patients for substance use and medical disorders, determine the appropriate course of treatment for the patients; ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary team setting; and meet/maintain documentation standards and comply with county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations pertaining to health care.
This position requires knowledge of diversity and inclusion with the relevant ability to engage, communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people of different backgrounds, identities, and culturally diverse communities.
Required:
- Advanced Practice Nursing degree (APN) degree or Physician Assistant (PA) from an accredited university.
- DEA Certification with Colorado license
- Demonstrated commitment and experience working with persons from marginalized communities and other patient populations experiencing vulnerabilities.
- Understanding and commitment to Medication Assisted Treatment and harm reduction principles.
Highly Desired:
- Spanish language skills. Other language skills also beneficial.
- At least 2 years' experience treating/servicing persons with substance use and mental health needs. New graduates will also be considered.
- Strong understanding of substance use treatment and knowledge of withdrawal management processes.
- Some positions include driving a company vehicle and require a valid Colorado driver’s license.
