About the Role:
The Manager in Training position is designed to develop future retail leaders by providing comprehensive hands-on experience in managing store operations, team leadership, and customer service excellence. This role focuses on equipping the candidate with the skills necessary to oversee daily retail activities, drive sales performance, and maintain high standards of store presentation and inventory management. The successful candidate will learn to implement company policies, manage staff schedules, and resolve customer issues effectively, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Through mentorship and structured training programs, the Manager in Training will gain insight into financial management, including budgeting and sales analysis, to support store profitability. Ultimately, this role prepares the individual to transition into a full managerial position, contributing to the growth and success of the retail location in Bar W, BARW.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service roles.
- Basic understanding of retail operations and sales principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
- Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within retail.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights.
- Proven problem-solving skills and conflict resolution experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Support the training and development of retail staff to enhance team performance and customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock availability.
- Help implement sales strategies and promotional activities to achieve store targets.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Participate in scheduling and workforce management to optimize labor resources.
- Analyze sales data and prepare reports to assist in decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, and safety regulations.

Pay: $20.19/hr + Bonus + Comission
