Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts
- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and drive collection efforts to minimize past-due balances
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and credit memos in coordination with sales and operations
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations
- Support Controller with financial reporting, variance analysis, and audit preparation
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and GAAP accounting standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support customer relationship and resolve financial issues
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with Accounting major
- Preferred 2-4 years working experience in related job
Skills
- Able to work under minimum supervision & meet deadlines
- Familiar with accounts receivable processes and revenue accounting standards
- Familiar with State and Local Sales Tax Returns
- Possess knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principals (GAAP)
- Experience with common Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Oracle E—Business Suite preferred
ITAR/EAR and Other Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or protected individual).
- Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.
Working Conditions
- 8-hour shift: 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday
- Special working conditions cover a range of circumstances from regular evening and weekend work, shift work, working outdoors, willingness to work off-core-hours, travel, and so forth.

Safety Requirements
All employees are required to attend scheduled training, follow the site EHS procedures and II-VI Corporate EHS standards. This includes the use of proper protective equipment (PPE) as required by the job responsibilities.
Managers will ensure that all safety and environmental procedures are followed consistently. They will ensure that risk assessments are performed, proper training, work instructions, required PPE is available, and will monitor compliance.
Quality and Environmental Responsibilities
Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
