Essential Functions

Manage and maintain all vendor relations which includes conducting vendor interviews, on-boarding and off-boarding of all vendors and ensuring vendors are compliant with all certifications and appropriately manages the customer and vendor relationship by building a professional rapport, following up consistently, and maintaining ongoing contact and communication.

Job Attributes and Skills

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of vendor agreements and coordinates quarterly business reviews to ensure compliance, monitor quality and when necessary, develop corrective action plans
  • Manages data to ensure vendor lists and data are kept current.
  • Reconciles vendor lists.
  • Provides vendor management support to the other divisions as necessary.
  • Act as a cooperative and contributing team member of DAVACO to ensure that a high level of service is always offered to both customers and vendors
  • Exercises recruitment screening techniques that ensure only high-quality vendors are selected
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college and/or 3-4 years’ experience in a project coordinator role or vendor management.
  • Self-organization and strong communication skills (oral and written) are critical to this role
  • Must be proactive and be able to provide timely follow up
  • Must be able to take ownership of assignments
  • Must be self-driven and motivated
  • Must possess 2-3 years of a customer service background
  • Must be highly detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy
  • Team skills are of utmost importance to this role including having the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and customers
