The Opportunity

We’re seeking a senior, consultative sales executive who thrives in complex environments, understands how to navigate strategic accounts, and can outmaneuver competitors through insight, flexibility, and execution. This role is ideal for someone ready to own a territory or set of strategic accounts, backed by a technology and delivery organization that builds what it sells and scales with accountability.

What will your job look like?

  • Lead end-to-end sales across named accounts in State & Local government and Public Services.
  • Hunt and grow business solving the customer problems, combining our technology and capabilities in Digital Engineering, Cloud, AI/Data, Testing, and Managed Services
  • Manage complex deals from prospect to close, including solution shaping, stakeholder alignment, and negotiation.
  • You will have to establish strong partnerships with key purchasing decision makers, executive sponsors, coaches, and influencers; and develop relationships with third parties to extend the reach of Amdocs beyond the core markets, solutions, and buying centers.
  • Build deep, trust-based relationships with CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Digital, and Line of Business Executives.
  • Bring a live network of client contacts and translate those into real pipeline and closed deals.
  • Leverage ecosystem partners—including cloud hyperscalers and industry platforms—for co-selling and solution differentiation
  • Understand account landscapes, challenges, decision hierarchies, and opportunities to land and expand.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, delivery, and partner teams to craft tailored, outcome-focused value propositions.
  • Stay close to the delivery to ensure complete adherence to deal expectations.

All you need is...

  • 8–15+ years of proven experience in services and technology sales to C-Level executives in State and Local Government, and Public Services. 
  • Experience in cross-selling and upselling Cloud transformation, AI/Data solutions, Quality Engineering, and IT Ops/Managed Services.
  • Strong partner sales experience and ability to build joint go-to-market narratives.
  • Experience in communication/presenting at the executive level is required.
  • You should be a “hunter” with proven experience working in large, complex, multi-vendor engagements & ecosystems. 
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or related fields is an advantage.
