HEAD BASKETBALL COACH en AREA COOPERATIVE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES

Description

ACES Wintergreen Magnet School is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Head Basketball Coach. The ideal candidate should be versed in the rules of basketball, familiar with middle school age students, and able to connect with both students and families.  The vision at Wintergreen is “to provide all students with a safe and nurturing environment that immerses each student in the arts, grounds them in restorative behaviors, and engages their minds to ensure academic and personal success”.

The coaching position will require coordinating and leading games in collaboration with the Athletic Coordinator. A passion for sharing the love of the sport, teaching/modeling the sport to youth and utilizing abilities to develop a team approach in the youth they serve is a must.

Qualifications

State of CT Coaching course, the Module 15 Concussion course, and Standard First Aid and CPR course.

ED 185 form filed with the State of CT.

Stipend: $6700 for a full year per teacher's contract
