Assists with the Screening and Casting Department processes and follows instructions from the leadership team to ensure that company productivity and efficiency goals are met, as well as meeting customer production and quality demands.
The 3rd shift schedule hours are 11:30pm to 7:00 am, Sunday evening through Friday morning.

Key Responsibilities
- Participates in Daily Management (DM) meetings, and updates DM boards and related data.
- Coordinates smooth transitions between shifts and communicates significant issues to the Supervisor, appropriate Engineer, Facilities, and/or EH&S Coordinator, as needed.
- Assists with the planning and assigning of work schedules to meet production goals.
- Coordinates with management to resolve process related problems or complaints.
- Interacts and coordinates with other Leads, supervisors, and managers regarding processes and activities within operations and cross-functional departments
- Primary point of contact when Supervision and Engineering are not available, regarding quality, policies, procedures, materials and machines.
- Assists management with effectively motivating employees, providing training, and providing weekly feedback and records of all training in progress and completed to supervision.
- Follows all department procedures, including set up and operating machines. Duties included but not limited to the following:
- Reads work orders, processing charts.
- Cleans machines as required prior to processing operations.
- Inspects parts according to specifications.
- Sets up and runs department machines
- Maintains manual or computerized records of production and inspection data.
- Completes CAMSTAR, ORACLE, and other electronic system transactions as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Cleanroom experience is preferred.
- Will be required to demonstrate the ability to learn all jobs within a department.
- Ability to read and analyze charts, work orders, or production schedules to determine production requirements
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle, a plus
- Job flexibility: this position requires you to be flexible for overtime and weekend work as required or the flexibility to work a different shift given notice by Supervision.
- Ability to remain calm in difficult or challenging situations
- Ability to prioritize and reprioritize work to meet changes in customer requirements
- Mental and visual acuity necessary to perform duties
- Effective coordination of manual dexterity
- Effective concentration and coordination
- Bilingual, English-Spanish is preferable.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift at least 15 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to stretch and work in siting and standing up positions.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting pay for this role is targeted to be between $19 and $21 per hour. Employees working on the 3rd shift also receive a $2.25 per hour shift differential.
