Preschool Director

Overview:    At Amore Learning Academy, we are seeking a dedicated Preschool Director to join our team. As a key member of our early childhood education facility, you will play a vital role in upholding our core values and ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children aged birth to 12 years old. The ideal candidate will align with our philosophy of prioritizing social-emotional development, play-based learning, and individualized attention for each child.

Basic Duties:

- Ensure compliance with State, Local, and Accreditation Policies to maintain high-quality standards within the center.
- Provide support to staff in implementing educational programs and curriculum tailored to infant through preschool-aged children.
- Oversee daily operations, including staff management, scheduling, and creating a safe and nurturing environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to deliver engaging instruction and foster student participation.
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents by addressing concerns, collecting tuition, celebrating children's achievements, and offering regular updates.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and facilitate professional development sessions to enhance team performance..

Requirements:

- Possession of a valid Florida Director's Credential 
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a preschool or early childhood education environment.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff, parents, and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of educators.
- Familiarity with state licensing regulations governing preschool operations.
