We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Graphic Arts Project Manager to lead graphic workflows across internal and external accounts. This role plays a key part in new product development and the transition of printed materials from concept to execution, launch, and digital archiving.
Functions of the Position:
- Manage and prioritize schedules for private label and branded packaging projects, including template development, concept reviews, artwork production, and print execution.
- Create and adapt graphics for commercialization and new packaging formats; support updates and mockup fulfillment.
- Use Adobe Creative Suite and project management tools (e.g., Product Vision) to manage digital assets and archives.
- Collaborate with agency partners to ensure packaging graphics meet brand and regulatory standards.
- Lead print execution initiatives including paper selection, ink approvals, specialty print options, and tooling.
- Partner with customers, marketing agencies, internal teams, and suppliers to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
- Review and approve artwork for compliance and printability before release to prepress and print vendors.
- Conduct final quality assurance checks and manage proof approvals.
- Create dyelines and verify packaging assembly requirements.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a graphics-related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphics project management, with a strong focus on print execution.
- Experience in packaging artwork production for commercialization is a plus.
- Familiarity with the print industry, including prepress production and print applications (digital, offset, flexographic).
- Background in artwork production within a corporate commercialization environment.
- Experience as a production artist in a consumer products company is a plus.
- Proficient in Macintosh operating systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
