SENIOR PRODUCER
Paradigm is a San Francisco-based investment firm focused on crypto and frontier technologies across the globe, with over $10 billion in assets under management. We make investments in companies and protocols at all stages, ranging from early-stage venture financing rounds to growth equity to liquid token assets.
Paradigm was co-founded in 2018 by Matt Huang (former Partner at Sequoia Capital) and Fred Ehrsam (co-founder of Coinbase). Since then we’ve been hard at work building a world-class team of brilliant mutants to investigate the world’s most beautiful technical problems. Our research-driven approach helps us build relationships with founders and entrepreneurs, but it also reflects our broader goal of growing the crypto ecosystem globally and accelerating crypto’s ability to advance the world we live in. We believe that crypto will ultimately redefine money, finance, and the internet itself, and this technological revolution will have a fundamental and long-lasting impact on the global economy.
Paradigm is a firm operating on the edge of the frontier. The technologies we work with are early. The ideas are complex. The language is still forming. Design plays a foundational role in shaping how these ideas take visual and cultural form. We rarely over-explain what we do. Our work speaks for itself. Design is how we make the unfamiliar legible - and the future believable.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Senior Producer to lead the operations and productions of Paradigm’s Brand & Design Studio. This is a senior, multidisciplinary role for someone with deep experience across brand, events, content and visual systems — and a commitment to the craft and attention to detail. You’ll work across all the core surfaces where Paradigm shows up — brand identity, events, editorial, and digital experiences — while also helping shape how design & creative is approached across the firm and its portfolio. You’ll collaborate with founders, direct outside partners, and contribute directly to the work yourself. This role is not abstracted from practice — it is hands-on, studio-based, and grounded in graphic design at a high level.
This role is based in our San Francisco office, with in-person collaboration as the default. Travel will be required for select events, shoots, and on-site builds. The studio is structured for focused , high-quality work — not constant meetings or constant output. The goal is quality over volume, with a long view toward building a lasting, resonant brand .
This role reports to Veit Moeller, Paradigm’s VP of Brand and Design.
ABOUT THE STUDIO
Paradigm’s design studio is a small, senior, high-craft team working across brand , product, content, and events. We operate more like a focused , independent creative practice than a traditional in-house team - with a strong point of view around form, typography, and clarity. We work closely with respected partners across disciplines - boutique motion studios, foundries, illustrators, spatial designers, and developers - while keeping a tight internal team that emphasizes systems thinking, long-term consistency, and sharp execution. The studio’s output ranges from identity and book design to interactive tools and environmental systems. Everything we do is grounded in graphic design at a high standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead projects from start to finish , scoping and briefing through to final delivery, spanning digital, design, motion, content, interactive, experiential and spatial, and print or merch.
Drive planning and resourcing across the studio, managing capacity for internal creatives and a trusted vendor bench. Spot gaps early and propose solutions, including recommending new hires as the studio grows.
Partner closely with designers and creatives to identify and secure the best outside talent and vendors whose capabilities match our quality and ambitions.
Work alongside project leads as a strategic partner, shaping how work is structured and managed so the outcome meets our creative goals.
Own the studio’s project cadence, keeping timelines, owners, and budgets visible, realistic, and on track.
Lead relationships with external partners from sourcing and briefing to negotiating S OWs, tracking performance, and ensuring quality through delivery.
Build and maintain systems for intake, review, and approvals that keep projects moving smoothly while ensuring files and assets are always production ready.
Collaborate with the I&R team to connect with portfolio companies, understand their needs, set clear expectations, and direct work to the right resources.
Ensure quality control and uphold brand standards across all formats, from digital to physical.
Oversee project budgets, POs, and reconciliations, making clear tradeoffs between cost, quality, and speed.
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years in creative production and design operations, ideally with experience in both in-house and agency/production settings.
Breadth across design, motion/content, digital/interactive, experiential/ spatial, and print/merch — and the ability to integrate them into cohesive outputs.
Proven experience building or scaling a studio: implementing tools, processes, and vendor networks that enable higher output without compromising quality.
Strength in vendor management—running RFPs, negotiating SOWs, and overseeing partners through to final delivery.
Clear, calm project and resource management skills; able to communicate timelines, risks, and decisions succinctly.
Hands-on operator who can balance managing others with managing their own work.
Based in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco, with comfort working on-site and occasional travel
