Student Worker – Office Staff

Number of Openings: 4

 

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

  • Provide administrative support to the Office of Multicultural Student Affairs
  • Assist with planning and logistics for multicultural programs and initiatives
  • Serve as a liaison between the office and diverse student populations
  • Support the creation of an inclusive campus environment through office operations
  • Help maintain office operations

 

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the front desk operations, including answering phones, greeting visitors, and responding to email inquiries
  • Assist with logistics planning for events
  • Update and organize digital and physical files related to student programs
  • Create and distribute promotional materials for upcoming multicultural events
  • Coordinate room reservations and equipment setup
  • Update content on the office website and social media platforms
  • Assist with budget tracking and processing expense reports
  • Take inventory and organize office supplies

 

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in good academic standing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated interest in multicultural affairs, diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Sensitivity to the needs of diverse student populations
