Position Overview:
SealingTech is looking is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our product development team to help build the next generation of AI-powered applications for defensive cyber operations. This platform leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) and custom agents to provide an intuitive conversational interface for interacting with and commanding cyber tools.
As a Software Engineer, you will be part of a development team, contributing to the design, development, testing, and integration of secure software solutions. You will engage with the team and provide valuable contributions under the Agile development framework
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support software development efforts including scripting, programming, integration, and documentation.
- Assist in quality assurance activities including unit, functional, and integration testing.
- Apply secure coding practices throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Collaborate with team members in daily standups, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Work across the application’s containerized architecture (FastAPI, React, PostgreSQL, Redis) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to code reviews and improve development processes.
- Troubleshoot software issues in Linux environments and help implement fixes.
- Document work is performed and support technical demonstrations for internal and external stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years of hands-on programming experience.Familiarity with Python
- Understanding of the software development, lifecycle and version control (e.g., Git).
- Proficiency with the Linux command-line interface (CLI).
- Foundational knowledge of software security principles (authorization, authentication, confidentiality, integrity).
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
