This position is remote but requires individuals to be located in the Pacific Timezone.


The Site Acquisition Specialist 1 is responsible for the management of the site acquisition portion of our wireless infrastructure projects for new site builds, modifications to existing sites, right-of-way sites and associated items. This includes both the leasing and zoning work associated with the site. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Negotiating of Leasing agreements, Amendments, Licenses, Rights-of-Way and/or Easement Agreements with property owners.
  • Completion of leasing packages and other documentation required by the client.
  • Preparing and ensuring completeness of all necessary zoning applications and supporting documentation for the purpose of acquiring all necessary Land Use Entitlements.
  • Coordinate with RF Engineering and Construction personnel and others daily to ensure timely and accurate completion of required tasks.
  • Reporting progress to the Project Manager on a regular, defined basis.

 

COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Previous experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry.
  • Previous experience working on T-Mobile sites, projects, or systems a must. 
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills are a requirement.
  • Previous site acquisition management experience a highly desired plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree, PMP Certification or Work Experience Equivalent to.
  • Scheduling competency and ability to read Construction Drawings.
  • Capacity to keep calm in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • A current and valid Real Estate License is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) a must.

  • Sense of Urgency- Act immediately to drive the project forward and meet goals. 
  • Measuring Performance-Assigns roles/responsibilities to employees then follows up on progress and results.
