This Global Import/Export Execution Manager will be embedded in the new Global Import/Export Team under the New Revenue Streams group. The primary goal of this role is to unlock the true power of our advantaged Global Snack portfolio to win with under-served consumers across diverse occasions with products sourced efficiently from around the world.
As the primary interface with global consumer cohorts, you will work together to identify and synthesize common, unmet consumer needs together with the Business Development team. Then, you will identify advantaged portfolio solutions that will be unlocked with agile, end to end execution and project management support. Your primary focus will be to execute with speed and creativity, finding solutions and seeking compromises across the major stakeholders in order to launch new innovations and drive new revenue generation. These consumer needs might be satisfied with existing products from other markets, but require development work to adapt existing winning innovations to be forward compatible across multiple markets.
You will co-create advantaged, forward compatible import innovation pipelines that will accelerate growth in premium and multi-cultural whitespaces, especially within emerging channels.
As a newly formed vertical in New Revenue Streams, you will be instrumental in socializing and championing the value of Import/Exports across the globe as the most agile, effective way to test and learn new platforms while satisfying consumer needs, given minimal product development, low burden on local manufacturing, and fast speed to market. This role will also work with business development to unlock new sources around the world and build substantial relationships with these new sources to unlock supply. Lastly, this role will also contribute to GTM Playbook development to identify best practices and leverage 'fail-fast' principles to launch and learn in order to feed invaluable insights back into future imports endeavors.
This is a Global Flexible role, but you must be located at one of the key PEP offices ideally in New York, UK, Plano, Mexico, or Europe.
- Lead end-to-end execution of Global Import/Exports projects. Apply the 3 lens approach (Desirability, Feasibility, and Viability) and support on full project management and timeline ownership and delivery
- Liaise with key stakeholders across multiple export markets to gauge feasibility including MOQs, packaging capability, production constraints, and customization requirements.
- Drive consensus across the key stakeholders to find synthesized, scaled formulations that will solve most compliance issues.
- Mitigate any regulatory, supply chain, financial, trademark issues, as well as facilitate contract development, business model alignment, commercial samples requests, coordination on tax/control, and product details collection. Will require complex relationship building with many markets' stakeholders.
- Multi-year Pipeline: Partner with Global Import GM, Commercialization Sr. Director, Marketing, and Business Development stakeholders to develop the H1 and H2/H3 pipeline, especially with Key Global Customers (e.g., Costco, Wal-mart)
- Coordinate with Central Supply Chain Team to ensure on-time launch of new products, starting with accurate rolling forecast from Import Markets to proactively flagging supply risks and managing ordering MOQs. Support in contingency planning against unexpected supply shortages, disruptions, or outages
- Drive project governance and relevant governance forums
- Export Portfolio Liaison: Proactively learn and develop understanding of portfolio offering and capabilities across key export sources such as North America, PMF, UK, and South America, etc.
- Excellence in project management is required with strong capability in Microsoft Project is required.
