Unit Description:Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack, owned and operated by Delaware North, features more than 1,500 video gaming machines and brings the thrill of live thoroughbred racing from April to November and year-round simulcast wagering on thoroughbred and harness racing from across the country. Finger Lakes presents various dining options including a large buffet.
Responsibilities:- Administer first aid and perform injury assessments in accordance with Medical Emergency Procedures, transferring care to ambulance services as needed
- Patrol buildings and grounds, inspect entry points, and monitor safety checkpoints to ensure facility security and compliance with safety and infection control standards
- Inspect and maintain emergency medical equipment, ensuring readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements
- Complete and transfer patient care records, reports, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and all state and federal regulations
- Support departmental objectives by following established policies and assisting with pre-shift communications and procedural updates
- Ability to drive company vehicles, both standard and automatic transmission
- EMT certification with a minimum of 1 year of experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be able to obtain a New York State Racing and Wagering License
- Local, regional, and national travel as deemed necessary
- Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.
- Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
- Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently
- Ability to lift and move 125 pounds or more on a regular basis as well as ability to lift and move adult patients
