Job Description:

Broad Function and Purpose of Position:

The Procurement Local Process Owner (LPO) is, in full alignment with the Global Process Owner (GPO), responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire P2P process across the local organization. This role involves standardizing processes, implementing best practices, and ensuring operational excellence in how the company manages its procurement and payment-related activities. This role ensures that procurement processes are effectively implemented, optimized, and compliant with corporate standards at the local level. The LPO drives continuous improvement, supports change management, and ensures alignment with business objectives.

 Sika offers a flexible work schedule.

Base salary of $80,000-$95,000 commensurate with experience and educational background.

Specific Responsibilities:

 

Process Ownership & Compliance

    • Act as the local expert for procurement processes and policies.
    • Ensure adherence to global and local procurement standards and regulations.
    • Monitor and report on process performance and related metrics.

Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, and IT departments locally, to align and implement the P2P process defined in conjunction with the GPO.
    • Act as point of contact for internal and external audits related to P2P process.
    • Provide training to increase the team knowledge and efficiency in managing P2P process.

Risk Management and Compliance

    • Ensure that all P2P processes comply with the legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies.
    • Support digital transformation and automation efforts within procurement.

Reporting & Analytics

    • Support with the development and maintenance of comprehensive dashboards to report on P2P metrics, general performance, and related topics, providing actionable insights to senior management.
    • Regularly review and report on the impact of the P2P improvement.
Qualifications:

Qualifications/Experience/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, systems and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

 

  • Preferred Skills:
  • Multinational or matrix organization experience.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Change management and training experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish, a plus.
