Laboratory Assistant en Case Western Reserve University

Description:

The Lewin Lab is seeking to hire an undergraduate CWRU student for the position of Laboratory Assistant. This role involves a variety of responsibilities, including:

·      Maintaining laboratory cleanliness

·      Handling biological waste

·      Taking inventory of supplies

·      Assisting in preparing laboratory reagents

·      Performing other support tasks as needed

Position Details:

·      Compensation: Paid at the CWRU hourly rate or above for student rank

·      Hours: Must be able to come in three times a week for a total of approximately 9 hours. A flexible schedule will be arranged with the supervisor

·      Must be a current undergraduate CWRU student in a science related field

·      Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·      Must be able to safely and comfortably handle chemicals and biological waste

·      Willingness to work three times a week, approximately 9 total hours, as discussed with the supervisor
