- $120,000+ Starting Base Salary, negotiable depending on experience

COMPANY PROFILE:
This multi-specialty private practice serves all of Little Rock and the surrounding area, specializing in sports medicine, orthopedic surgery, whiplash treatment, custom rehabilitation plans, and much more. Their office boasts services in neck and spine, shoulder, arm and elbow, hip, hand and wrist, knee, ankle and foot, and leg. Their dedicated team of orthopedic physicians and physician assistants are experts in the treatment and care of the musculoskeletal system. They are currently seeking a new physician assistant due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This practice sees patients for a wide range of orthopedic pain and injury conditions, as well as sports medicine.
The role of the physician assistant includes, but is not limited to:
- perform therapeutic joint injections, trigger point injections, and joint injections
- provide pre- and post-operative patient care
- assist with consultation and follow-up on a routine basis
- assist with medical decision-making, data gathering, documentation, and transitions of care
- assist with reassessments, acute visits, clinics, and test monitoring
- assist with patient follow-up and medical management
Most providers see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day, but this can be adjusted based on patient need.
Providers are fully supported by dedicated clinical assistants and administrative staff. The new physician assistant will see patients independently, and also sometimes work alongside an established orthopedic physician.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Arkansas PA license
- DEA
- NCCPA certification
- full training provided; no experience required
