POSITION SUMMARY
The Rentals Technician will be responsible for properly fitting guests ski and snowboard equipment, and boot fitting. The Rentals Technician is expected to bring a positive attitude each day, and be equipped with excellent customer service skills. This is a part-time seasonal position that pays $20.00/hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Constant interaction with guests, while maintaining a courteous and professional attitude
- Help guest with proper boot fitting and adjustment
- Precise ski and pole measurements
- Instruct customers in the correct use of the equipment
- Must maintain a safe, healthy and orderly workstation
- Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Actively pursuing a Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- Previous rental/retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Sound knowledge base of ski/snowboard industry and equipment operation
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Customer service skills
- Self-motivated
- Strong communication, and organizational skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
