- Multi skilled engineering background
- Experience of working in the food industry - FMCG desirable but not essential
- Relevant engineering qualifications – minimum Engineering NVQ or equivalent
- Ability to work unsupervised (although advice and guidance will be available where required)

Your Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and reactive maintenance on food processing and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and PLC faults quickly and efficiently to reduce production impact.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with maintenance schedules and safety regulations.
- Ensure all machinery complies with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, GMP, BRC).
- Support production teams with technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and equipment logs using CMMS software.
- Liaise with production, quality, and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance works with minimal disruption.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes to recurring equipment issues.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Assist in installation, commissioning, and upgrades of machinery or infrastructure within the facility.
