As we scale rapidly, we’re looking for an Engineering Manager who leads with clarity and confidence—but isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves in the code when it matters most.
The Role: Leadership with Technical Depth
This isn’t a meetings-only role. We’re looking for someone who thrives on building teams and shaping culture, while also keeping a strong connection to the technical work. You’ll spend most of your energy coaching, unblocking, and guiding engineers but when the situation calls for it, you’ll jump into the codebase, debug a production issue, or prototype a proof of concept.

What You’ll Do
Technical Leadership
Stay close enough to the stack to make informed technical decisions
Review PRs, validate designs, and set a high quality bar
Jump into code when needed—whether it’s unblocking a teammate, debugging production, or spiking a new idea
Ensure our frontend and full-stack systems deliver excellent user experiences
Team Growth & Mentorship
Build and nurture a high-performing, collaborative team
Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and coaching
Create an environment where engineers feel ownership and accountability
Help attract and hire strong engineers who share our hands-on culture
Strategic Execution
Partner with Product and Design to define technical roadmaps
Balance speed, quality, and long-term sustainability in decision-making
Translate vision into execution by connecting strategy with technical reality
Lead by example: you don’t just set standards—you live them
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
5+ years of experience building production software (frontend or full-stack)
At least 2 years as a tech lead, team lead, or manager
Current experience with modern frontend technologies (React, TypeScript)
Strong track record of building performant, user-friendly applications
Excellent communication in a remote-first environment

Experience scaling frontend performance and accessibility
Strong knowledge of GraphQL and modern API design

Startup experience at Series A/B stage
