Position Summary

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading and developing the marketing team. Including developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and programs. While establishing high brand equity, and ensuring the brands meet their targeted objectives. Continuously establishing productive and professional relationships with sales team, partners/customers, and other support team.

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

The Role

  • Responsible for leading and developing the marketing team.

  • Identify market potentials & analyse correct market segments for the FMC brands on potential crop.

  • Analyse competition in existing markets & effectively utilize the information to recommend business development strategies for future growth of FMC brands.

  • Analyse customer behaviour and adjust marketing campaigns accordingly.

  • Train and mentor, the brand/portfolio managers to develop product marketing plan package and goals for FMC product portfolio, suggest and execute strategy to meet goals.

  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies and programs based on Strategic marketing and Field marketing team’s requirements.

  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely, measure, track, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals.

  • Oversee and approve marketing collaterals, from online materials to hard copy brochures, flyers, etc. to remain within the country Advertising and Promotion budget.

  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors

  • Monitor and analyse FFA (Field Force Assistant) and suggest improvements.

  • Collaborate closely with other functions to ensure aligned process and strategies, S&OP, IBP etc., Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts together with sales and contribute to the S&OP process.

  • Identify new market opportunities.

  • Coordinate and strengthen relations with FMC’s business partners and customers to ensure growth of the brands and achieve the sales revenue target.

The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Business, Marketing, or any similar field is required.

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing positions.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position.

  • Working experience in AgChem or Pharmaceuticals industry is preferred.

  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading marketing campaigns across channels that engage, educate, and motivate.

  • Experience managing P&L

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to lead and work in a team environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including in English.

  • Knowledgeable in MS Office tools, administrative and financial skills.

  • Must be able to travel for field work across regions in Indonesia.
