This is a high-impact role for a hands-on leader passionate about building scalable processes, driving operational excellence, and owning the end-to-end customer experience.
You will be responsible for leading a core team and managing the performance of our critical 3PL and carrier partners to ensure we meet and exceed customer expectations. The core problems you will solve involve optimizing our logistics network for cost and performance, executing strategic projects that fuel our growth, and providing data-driven insights to senior leadership.
If you are a master of execution, a data-driven problem-solver, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can make a tangible impact, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a remote and onsite team of operations specialists responsible for inbound logistics, outbound coordination, and customer escalations. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity.
- Performance Management: Own the relationship and performance of our 3PL and carrier network. Conduct regular performance reviews, analyze key metrics, and hold partners accountable to SLAs and KPIs to drive efficiency and service quality.
- Strategic Project Execution: Manage and execute key operational projects from planning and scoping through to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, risks are proactively managed, and stakeholders are kept informed.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct deep-dive analyses on carrier rate cards, transit times, and inventory accuracy to identify cost-saving and performance improvement initiatives. Prepare and present compelling, data-driven insights to senior leadership in monthly business reviews.
- Operational Excellence: Serve as a key point of contact for operational challenges and escalations. Collaborate closely with our Customer Experience teams to resolve issues and identify root causes to improve the overall customer journey.
What you need to succeed:
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management, with a strong preference for final mile experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing a team.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. Hands-on experience with BI tools is highly preferred.
- Tech-savvy with practical experience working with TMS, WMS, and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence and polish to effectively convey complex information to senior executives.
