The Materials Coordinator I supports product development by assisting in the purchasing, tracking, and handling of prototype parts and materials.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic material handling, inventory counts, and general hardware lab support
- Assist with ordering prototype materials and services, following standard procedures
- Track prototype material orders, inventory, tools, and equipment with guidance from senior staff
- Support engineers by preparing simple kits and delivering materials as directed
- Resolve routine order or delivery issues with support from management
- Learn and apply company processes and systems
Requirements
Core Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of electronic and mechanical parts
- Proficiency with Excel and ability to learn ERP systems
Preferred Requirements:
- Internship or warehouse/procurement exposure
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Atlassian JIRA
- Experience in an aerospace environment
Travel:
- Some local travel will be required
- Reliable transportation or ability to travel to vendor sites for delivery duties
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $22.00 to $26.00 per hour however, the base pay offered may vary depending on the level of the position, skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
