Management Level:

SUMMARY:

This position provides financial and business leadership while ensuring good stewardship of Tyson resources. This position will report to the Corporate Growout Accounting department. It will support Corporate Live Operations as well as the Corporate Poultry Business Units. Responsibilities include: operations financial support, competitive reporting and analysis, reporting and analysis; metric scorecard reporting; continual business process improvement identification and implementation; other duties as assigned. Duties also include partnering with the poultry locations to achieve weekly/monthly close results. Quarterly responsibilities include ensuring proper internal control and SOX compliance within poultry for live accounting controls and other duties as assigned. 

​REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to the job being evaluated. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of experience.
Computer Skills: Requires strong computer skills using Microsoft Excel and intermediate skills in other Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, and Powerpoint.  SAP experience preferred. Mtech experience preferred.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in multiple departments or work units who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities.   

Special Skills: Relationship management skills.  Detailed knowledge of all business cycles, systems and processes that impact sales and production.  Live accounting poultry experience preferred.  Ability to see beyond the scope of work to support overall business transformation needs.  Change management skills are critical to the success of this role. 

Travel: 6 or more domestic trips per year.
