About the role.

As a Former Operator, you will manage all aspects of forming machines to ensure they function efficiently and effectively to meet production goals. You’ll be responsible for machine setup, monitoring product quality, performing sanitation as needed, and supporting troubleshooting and training on the line.

Openings.

Day Shift: 6am-6pm 2-2-3

What you’ll be doing.

• Operate forming machines with minimal supervision

• Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, temperatures, flow, and other variables

• Monitor machine performance and use control panels to detect and respond to malfunctions

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and execute machine adjustments

• Maintain production output to meet daily standard rates

• Use Real-Time Monitoring System (OSI Pi) to log and track machine data

• Provide hands-on training and assist other team members as needed

• Conduct equipment sanitation according to quality and safety guidelines

• Follow all safety procedures and perform all duties as assigned by leadership

What you’ll need to be successful.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience operating forming machines or similar equipment

• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

• Basic computer skills; ability to use production tracking systems (e.g., OSI Pi)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Must be physically capable of pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items, with or without accommodation
