The Portfolio Manager responsible for the comprehensive oversight, analysis, and strategic execution of Choctaw Global’ s investment portfolio, with a strong emphasis on private equity, real estate development, and government contracting opportunities. This role serves as a key representative of the Choctaw Global Investment Group in high-level meetings, partnership discussions, and board-level decision-making, ensuring alignment between investment activities and the broader strategic goals of Choctaw Global and the Choctaw Nation. You will report directly to the Treasurer of Global Investments.
Responsibilities
- You will represent Choctaw Global in senior leadership meetings and strategic sessions with business units and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a Board Member or Sponsor Director on designated investment committees and LLCs.
- Present investment opportunities and updates to the CEO, CFO, Board, and Nation leadership.
- Evaluate and review new business and investment opportunities, including due diligence, risk analysis, and strategic fit.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the investment portfolio, with regular reporting on key metrics and financial outcomes.
- Oversee capital call processes, including authorization and coordination of wire transfers.
- Oversee real estate construction projects by reviewing budgets, timelines, monthly reports, and change orders.
- You will review leasing performance, tax assessments, invoices, and operating expenses for managed properties.
- Attend and participate in external meetings, networking events, and business development forums on behalf of Choctaw Global.
- You will maintain relationships with investment partners, financial brokers, lenders, and project stakeholders.
- Support cross-departmental collaboration by aligning Choctaw Global Investment Group activities with other business units.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, capital markets, and project development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with experience presenting to boards and senior executives.
- Ability to travel for site visits and partner meetings as needed.
- Seven (7) years of experience in investment management, private equity, or real estate development
