Bob Bell Chevrolet of Bel Air is seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Associate to join our team.
Earning potential - salary/commission up to $120,000+ per year, based performance
As a Chevrolet Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales for one of the most iconic American automotive brands. This is a full-time position with a competitive base salary and commission structure in the dynamic and fast-paced auto industry. The role is located at our dealership in Bel Air, Maryland and reports to the Sales Manager.

- Engage with customers in a professional and approachable manner to understand their needs and preferences
- Maintain customer relationships & create customers for life. Assist them in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Conduct vehicle demonstrations and test drives to showcase features and benefits of Chevrolet vehicles
- Be the vehicle expert. Know the in’s & the out’s of product offerings, optional packages & latest technology
- Perform high-quality and professional demonstrations of new/used vehicles.
- Follow up with potential customers via phone, email, and in-person to convert leads into sales
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process, from initial inquiry to post-sale follow-up
- Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations
- Meet and exceed sales targets by utilizing effective sales techniques and strategies
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Chevrolet vehicles, pricing, and promotions
- Collaborate with other dealership departments, including finance and service, to ensure seamless customer experience
- Complete sales documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.

- At least one previous job with customer experience required
- Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
- Great communication skills with customers and team members
- Professional, well-groomed personal appearance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ready to hit the ground running on learning new product in’s & out’s
- Knowledge of basic computer programs and ability to learn dealership software
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
