Maintenance Technician en Turning Point Community Programs

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY) The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that could be performed. •
Assists in maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all the agency’s sites.
•
Performs minor repairs of equipment, fixtures, and furniture.
•
Repairs damage to walls, windows, doors, hardware, etc.
•
Assists in moving furniture and equipment as needed.
•
Drives agency vehicle on agency business which may include commuting to work locations that might take up to several hours of travel time.
•
Maintains clean driving record as well as currency of driver’s license.
•
Drives on agency business using personal vehicle; may be required to transport clients, equipment, protected health information (PHI), and/or confidential personnel or TPCP agency information.

TRAVEL: Between sites/suppliers

QUALIFICATIONS
MINIMUM:
Completion of High School or G.E.D. Minimum two years’ experience in working as a maintenance person with experience in construction and facility maintenance/repair preferably in a social service setting; must be able to provide a clean DMV report.

LICENSES; CERTIFICATES; SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• California driver’s license & current vehicle insurance/registration if driving; and,
• Reliable means of transportation capable of passing vehicle safety inspection if more than five years old excluding all modes of two-wheeled transport inclusive of bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles.

Compensation:  $23-$25
