About the Department
Position Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive client experience strategies that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and values, ensuring a consistent and high-quality client-centered care environment.
- Develop metrics to meet State, Federal, Quality initiatives and to align with the strategic priorities of the organization.
- Develop the organization’s Quality Improvement Plan (CQI) and update on an annual basis.
- Analyze data to lead organizational programs through Plan, Do, Study, Act processes for continuous improvement.
- Chair and facilitate the Connected Care Program which focuses on the telehealth programs providing virtual care to our clients.
- Analyze client satisfaction survey data, behavioral health metrics, and feedback from clients and families to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted action plans to address identified issues.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to integrate client experience best practices into daily operations, ensuring that client care processes are smooth, efficient, and focused on the patient’s needs.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with external organizations to stay informed about industry trends and best practices in client experience.
- Design and implement workflows to improve client experience, programs and initiatives, such as client and family advisory councils or service excellence training, to foster a culture of empathy, respect, and patient-centered care.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements related to client rights and experience, conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary to maintain high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED;
- 5 years’ experience in a behavioral health or healthcare organization working as a member of the quality & compliance team;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws and regulations governing the practice of mental health & substance abuse/dependency treatment;
- Strong written and spoken communication skills;
- Personal computer operations experience;
- Valid Washington State Driver’s License: Must have a safe reliable vehicle with proof of automobile insurance;
- Background Check: Must have an acceptable background report, at time of hire and every three years afterward; and
- Driving Abstract: Must have an acceptable driving report.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, and/or behavioral health related field.
- Spanish Bilingual/Bicultural.
- Experience working in clinical supervision.
- Knowledge of County and Agency policies and procedures.

Working Conditions
- Work is primarily performed inside but can be performed in varying temperatures.
- Work settings may include any of the Renew offices, schools, jails, individual’s homes or community locations.
- Employee may be exposed to odors or vapors in the office or other work settings.
- Work may be performed in other environments where the employee may be exposed to sub-sanitary environments, pets and passive smoking.
- Daily exposure to potential verbal and physical aggression with risk of personal safety issues.
- Work duties may require the operation of vehicles, which involve the risks associated with driving including road traffic conditions and inclement weather.
- Work duties may require employee to transport clients in vehicles.
