Job Purpose
We are seeking a high-performing, hands-on Mid-Level AWS Dev Opsto support critical customer-facing platforms that require consistent uptime while driving continuous improvement and innovation. This role will participate in initiatives to refine deployment practices for improved reliability, repeatability, and security, while collaborating closely with DevOps, software engineering, and business teams.

You will take ownership of cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and automation to ensure scalability, compliance, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Deliver excellence to Software Engineering teams, enabling development velocity while ensuring security and best practices.
• Own, architect, and manage AWS infrastructure components (Lambda, EKS, etc.).
• Build with a focus on security, compliance, and high availability.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Create policies and procedures to support a growing microservices architecture.
• Implement cloud monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation solutions for proactive issue detection and trend analysis.
• Identify scalability bottlenecks and execute performance improvements.
• Ensure architectures meet availability and recoverability requirements.
• Support release management via tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
• Actively monitor risks to SLAs and delivery timelines.

Required Qualifications

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer) required.
• 3+ years DevOps engineering experience.
• 2+ years managing AWS infrastructure.
• 2+ years with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 2+ years with Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Strong programming background (Python, C#, or .NET preferred).
• Proven experience with monitoring/alerting tools and log aggregation (ELK, Splunk).
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and microservice architecture.
• Hands-on experience architecting and deploying advanced AWS infrastructures.
• Solid understanding of web services, databases, and related infrastructure.
• Knowledge of backup/restore best practices and cloud security fundamentals.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaboration skills.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently in an enterprise environment.
• Positive “can-do” attitude with proven on-time, on-budget delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with compliance-driven environments.
• Exposure to multiple CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
• Background in enterprise-level financial services or regulated industries.
