Position Summary
The Junior Marketing Manager is an exciting role where you will get to try your hand at many facets of marketing while receiving developmental guidance from your direct report and teammates. This role assists with all marketing initiatives and helps with the day-to-day work that keeps the team functioning. This includes managing the website, helping craft initiatives, feeding into reporting and planning, conducting data analysis, working with local marketing partners, creating social media content and more.
Responsibilities
- Feed into the 1 year plan and assist with compiling results for the end of year report.
- Help compile monthly reports on marketing initiatives and their results.
- Contribute to planning processes for marketing initiatives, campaigns, and experiential events.
- Monthly audit of social media channels, business listings, and website for accuracy
- Learn how we manage our projects and assist in setting up a project for success.
- Capture photo and video content for social media in venue
- Assist with SEO and digital advertising efforts
- Manage and oversee donation requests
- Attend offsite marketing events where support is needed
- Create design briefs for advertisements or other marketing initiatives
- Master how to use ticketing platforms and build compelling event pages on Fareharbor and Eventbrite
- Identify social media trends appropriate for our business to participate in
- Ensure event photography is kept up to date and filed correctly.
- Audit marketing Drive folders to ensure everything is filed properly and naming conventions are followed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in marketing or related field
- 1 year experience in a marketing related position
- Interest in hospitality
- Comfortable operating Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn, Canva.
- Experience creating social media content
Essential Duties
- Travel to other locations 1-2 times a year.
- Can lift up to 10 lbs.
