SALARY: £65,385 - £75,000
LOCATION(S): Leeds
HOURS: Full time
WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in the above location
About this opportunity
The Strategy Manager will ensure alignment of key initiatives with business goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and support the delivery of measurable performance improvements!
The role will be responsible for defining, developing, and driving the Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement (CI) strategy across Group Chief Operating Office (GCOO). This role requires a strategic thinker who can clearly articulate the purpose, vision, and value of Operational Excellence to customers at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Setting & Communication: Develop, maintain and communicate the GCOO Operational Excellence vision and strategy across all levels of the organisation.
Collaborate with senior leadership to align CI strategy with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the overall improvement portfolio and the impact on business performance. Apply critical thinking to surface themes, actions, and opportunities that are relevant to the Process Office.
Evolution of the Process Office, staying abreast of industry guidelines and emerging trends in CI and Operational Excellence within financial services.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency through storytelling, sharing successes and showcasing our progress.
Stakeholder Engagement; Act as a key communicator of the Process Office’s vision to stakeholders and process owners, fostering shared understanding and commitment.
Storytelling; Writing compelling narratives that showcase the team’s successes and transformation impact, helping to build credibility, promote best practice and engagement across the organisation.

What you'll need
Proven experience in continuous improvement, strategy development and execution.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills; able to articulate strategies in a clear and compelling way
Ability to think critically and identify strategic opportunities.
Strong storytelling abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders.
Strategic consulting background or experience in a similar advisory role.
Knowledge and experience transforming a business operating model and organisational change methodologies.
Familiarity with Outside-In thinking and process improvement initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
