Senior Associate - Finance Systems Manager en Union Maritime

We are seeking a highly experienced IT Professional with significant finance systems delivery experience to drive and play a pivotal role in transforming financial operations through technology. Working closely with incumbent IT team, this role is pivotal in maintaining system integrity, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and defending against evolving cyber threats. 

Requirements

Financial Systems Leadership

·       Assist in the configuration, testing and validation for finance system technology change

·       Strong understanding of finance and accounting process (IFRS/Gaap knowledge is a plus)

·       Expertise in systems architecture, integrations between HRIS and ERPs and workflow tools (ERP, FP&A, reporting systems)

·       Familiarity with Anaplan and Business Central is advantageous

·       Lead data migration activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data

·       Identify and resolve issues during implementation and post-go live phases

·       Ensure systems meet security standards.

·       Collaborate with finance and audit teams to support secure data flows and reporting.

Microsoft Business Central / D365

·       Lead finance focused BC projects from discovery to go live

·       Work with finance to map out finance process and translate them into BC technical solutions

·       Configure, test and support data migration

·       Acting as a Trusted Advisor, helping finance improve and transform their finance operations

FP&A (Anaplan, Tagetik or equivalent)

·       +3 years' experience with a Tier 1 FP&A technology

·       Strong understanding of business planning process (budgeting, forecasting

·       Anaplan model builder certification is a strong plus

Finance Consolidations

·       Solid financial consolidation software technology experience

·       Experience with multi-dimensional modelling

·       Aptitude for quickly ramping up on new technology

Stakeholder & Soft Skills:

·       Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate technical and business teams

·       Clear communication style, able to present confidently to Finance Managers and Leads

Required Qualifications/Attributes

·       5+ years of experience in systems engineering, with at least 3 years in financial systems.

·       Experience with financial platforms (e.g., Microsoft D365/Business Central, Treasury, Anaplan (or equivalent), Bloomberg) and security tools (e.g., Sophos, Arctic Wolf, Egress).

·       Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and SaaS products

·       Familiarity with compliance frameworks: I, GDPR.

·       Excellent communicator to bridge finance, data and technology teams

·       Experience in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Preferred Qualifications

·       Ideally qualified in accountancy

·       Experience with zero trust architecture, and data loss prevention (DLP).

·       Strong scripting and automation skills.

·       Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.
