Sap FICO Functional Consultant en KSB

Role Summary

A seasoned SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling Consultant to support our transition from ECC to S/4HANA and later support in S/4HANA. The role demands deep expertise in FI/CO modules, strong understanding of product-based industry processes, and hands-on experience with authorization management, VIM, international tax compliance (Euro and US), and advanced controlling functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

Finance (FI)

• Lead Fit-Gap analysis and workshops to align S/4HANA capabilities with business requirements.
• Configure and implement core FI modules: GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Tax Configuration (GCC VAT, Euro, US).
• Support ECC to S/4HANA migration including data cleansing, mapping, testing and validation.
• Ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, PP, and other modules.
• Collaborate with security teams to manage SAP authorization roles and resolve SoD conflicts.
• Work with OpenText VIM for invoice processing, exception handling, and workflow optimization.

Controlling (CO)

• Configure and support CO modules in both ECC and S/4HANA:
• Cost Center Accounting (CCA) – planning, allocations, assessments.
• Profit Center Accounting (PCA) – reporting and performance tracking.
• Internal Orders – budgeting, tracking, and settlement.
• Product Costing – cost estimates, cost object controlling, variance analysis.
• Material Ledger – actual costing and inventory valuation.
• Activity-Based Costing (ABC) – where applicable.
• CO-PA (Profitability Analysis) – account-based and costing-based in S/4HANA.
• Support planning cycles and integration with SAP BPC or SAC if applicable.
• Analyse cost flows and ensure accurate cost allocations across manufacturing and service processes.

Tax & Compliance

• Configure and support indirect tax scenarios for GCC VAT, Euro VAT, and US Sales & Use Tax.
• Ensure compliance with international tax reporting standards and audit requirements.

Training & Support

• Conduct training sessions and prepare documentation for finance and controlling users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve post-go-live issues, ensuring system stability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP FI/CO experience, with at least 1–2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations.
• Experience in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Strong understanding of finance and controlling operations in product-based industries.
• Hands-on experience with SAP authorization concepts and role management.
• Working knowledge of OpenText VIM and invoice automation.
• Familiarity with Euro and US tax regulations and reporting standards.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance certification preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP Fiori apps and embedded analytics.
• Exposure to Group Reporting, Treasury, and Central Finance.
• Understanding of manufacturing cost flows and inventory valuation.
• Arabic language proficiency is a plus.
