MAJOR ACTIVITIES

Achieve MIS targets thereby minimizing customer annoyance and improving product quality. Identify new emerging and reoccurrence concerns.

  • Warranty claims are monitored daily for identifying any new emerging and reoccurrence concerns.
  • Monitor 3 MIS, 12 MIS and 24 MIS values and initiate suitable corrective actions.
  • Act on the durability concerns for CM

Market Information Validation and Duplication of product concern.

  • Interaction with multiple Export market teams for exact VOC data collection and validation.
  • Concern duplication of replaced incident parts received from market done in plant along with CFT team for incident confirmation.

Identify root cause of concerns

  • Actively participate in Joint Investigations with dealers & vendors at field as well as in plant to establish root cause of concerns

Contain outflow of affected vehicles from plant and stockyard.

  • After collecting the market concern information, the Quick Resolution Request (QRR) is issued to the manufacturing plant to avoid further outflow of incidents to the market. The quick action to be taken within 24hrs from the incident reporting.

Issuing Countermeasure Action Request REQ for taking Permanent countermeasure.

  • After collecting the complete information on the incident, the Countermeasure Action Request (CAR) is issued to the manufacturing plant/Engineering team to permanent action on the incidents reported from market. For CAR request, Manufacturing issue lead time is 30days and Engineering issue lead time is 90days.

Confirmation of Counter Measure Effectiveness.

  • Monitor closed concerns by using warranty data and the number of dispatched service parts in monthly basis. Check for possibility of recurrence by using C/M part number and C/M adoption date. As for issues, which were monitor closed with no C/M adoption based on incident investigation, check for incident occurrence trend with each Part Number.

Management reporting / Market communication

  • Daily QRQC2 meetings, weekly and monthly QLT meetings, Monthly Updates Priority list, TSB, MD document for QIB items, QMMP, QMME, IQM, Monthly KPI review, AMI Top market concerns,

Statistical data analysis

  • Good Knowledge on Warranty data analysis using bulk data – mainly in MS Excel / MS Access
