A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an Access Management Analyst at MKS, you will partner with Information Technology support for onboarding, offboarding and provisioning of access. In this role, you will report to the IDAM Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- User Access Provisioning: Process access requests from users across different departments and geographical locations, ensuring that access privileges align with job roles and responsibilities
- User Lifecycle Management: Manage user accounts throughout their lifecycle, including onboarding, role changes, and offboarding, ensuring timely provisioning and deprovisioning of access rights
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in access management workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of user access rights, access requests, and access control policies, and generate reports for management and audit purposes
- Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and create knowledge articles for all job activities
- Incident Response: Collaborate with the IT security and compliance teams to respond to access-related security incidents, such as unauthorized access attempts or breaches, and implement corrective actions as necessary
Skills You Bring:
- Level of formal education (if needed), license/certification, etc.
- 3+ Years of job-related work experience
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot access-related issues and incidents.
- The candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt and learn new processes and procedures
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
- Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Professional Certifications: ITIL v3 or v4
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in IAM or a related field
Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with IAM solutions, identity governance, and administration
