The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Administration Assistant to join the team at our Curragh Mine in Blackwater. In this role your goal will be to provide support services for our site in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. Reporting to the Site Manager, together as the administration team, you will be an integral part of the broader 120-person site that performs full-service explosives to the mine.
Having worked in a similar role with competing demands, you will be proficient in a range of software applications, including the essentials, Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook. Experience in SAP is also desirable. A Cert III in Business Administration demonstrating your impeccable attention to detail and demonstrated organisational skills is advantageous.
This position works back to back with another team member - you will require a Standard 11, the ability to pass a Coal Board Medical and SSAN clearance.
You will achieve this by:
- Adhere to all Company HSE policies and procedures
- Maintain excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Daily reporting and data entry, including site KPI data and meeting minutes
- Onboarding new employees, booking medicals, accommodation, and visitor inductions
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and organise travel, meals, accommodation, and training courses
- Assist with training programs, maintain confidential personnel/training records, and ensure competency validity
- Manage site purchasing requirements, including raising purchase requisitions through SAP and liaising with suppliers
- Run and analyse SAP reports, present data in graph format, and use Excel for data manipulation
- Compile and prepare monthly overtime and weekly wage summaries for payroll
- Maintain team supplies, including uniforms, PPE, and stationery
- Collaborate with other DNAP Administrators to ensure consistency across sites
- Provide administrative cover for other sites when required, maintaining high standards of professionalism
A friendly and professional approach, coupled with the ability to 'go the extra mile', is essential to this position. This is a genuine "all-rounder" administrative function that requires the ability to accomplish several complex administrative responsibilities accurately and efficiently.
