As our new Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll be a strategic individual contributor who plays a critical role in embedding IDEXX innovations into veterinary workflows and driving customer engagement across Australia and New Zealand. This newly created role is due to business expansion and growth, offering an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our marketing efforts in the region. You’ll lead the design and execution of high-impact programs that increase product utilization, customer retention, and long-term value—without direct reports, but with significant influence across regional and global teams.
You will:
Lead end-to-end delivery of utilization and loyalty programs—from strategy and business case development to execution, adoption support, and performance measurement.
Translate global innovation into local market adoption, ensuring IDEXX solutions are fully integrated into clinical and business practices.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership, including financial analysis and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align marketing initiatives with commercial priorities and customer needs.
Coach and mentor peers across the marketing function, fostering capability development and knowledge sharing.
Continuously improve program performance through data-driven insights, ROI analysis, and customer feedback.
We’re Looking For:
You’re a self-directed leader who thrives in complexity, balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, and consistently delivers results. You will be a seasoned and strategic marketer with:
10+ years’ experience in marketing, customer programs, or commercial strategy, ideally in healthcare, animal health, or related industries.
Proven success in designing and scaling loyalty or utilization programs that deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Advanced project and program management skills, with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
Strong financial acumen and analytical capabilities to assess ROI and drive sustainable business impact.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills across matrixed, regional, and global environments.
A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications (postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA preferred).
Proficiency in CRM systems, marketing automation, and digital marketing tools.
