About the role

The Data & AI Platform Manager is a trailblazing leadership role responsible for designing, building, and scaling the backbone of Tyro’s AI and data-driven future. This role blends strategic platform vision, technical excellence, and people leadership to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative capabilities that empower Tyro to harness data and AI responsibly.

At the heart of Tyro’s product strategy, the role will unlock the potential of enterprise data and AI - from traditional machine learning powering financial features to next-generation agentic experiences driven by LLMs and the Model Context Protocol (MCP). The Manager will architect and operationalise a resilient platform that supports rapid AI experimentation and productionisation, while embedding governance, compliance, and responsible AI practices from the start.

They will balance immediate delivery needs with long-term evolution, ensuring Tyro’s data is always accessible, trustworthy, and production-ready for advanced AI applications.

This is a rare greenfield opportunity to define standards, shape architecture, and lead a high-performing platform team. The work will ensure Tyro’s AI platform is scalable, observable, secure, and cost-efficient, powering innovation across the business and positioning Tyro as a leader in applied AI for financial services.

By driving collaboration across Technology, Product, and Delivery, the Data & AI Manager will ensure Tyro maximises the value of data and AI, embedding responsible AI practices, resilience, and compliance from day one. This is a defining opportunity to establish Tyro’s Data & AI foundation and power the next wave of AI-driven innovation and growth.
