We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Fraud Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing transactional data, identifying patterns of suspicious activity, and supporting fraud prevention strategies. You will collaborate closely with Support, Account Management, and Data teams to build processes that reduce fraud exposure while ensuring a seamless customer experience.
What You’ll Do 🎯
Monitor, analyze, and investigate accounts and behavioural data to identify potential fraud.
Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets for fraud detection and prevention.
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and fraud monitoring tools
Support the creation of fraud detection rules and alerts.
Work cross-functionally with account management, data, product, and engineering teams to improve fraud controls.
Document and report findings, providing actionable insights to stakeholders
Assist in identifying emerging fraud trends and recommend proactive countermeasures.
What You’ll Bring 💡
Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Advanced Problem-Solving: A proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide effective, solution-oriented resolutions for challenging or technical user issues in a timely manner.
Data Orientation: Experience analyzing large datasets and identifying trends or anomalies. Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis. Experience with Python or R for data analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning is a strong plus.
Process Improvement: Demonstrated experience in meeting or exceeding KPIs, multi-tasking effectively, prioritising your workload, and contributing to improving existing processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
