Job description: UTILITY WORKER Intec is a family-run, full-service Janitorial Contractor operating in Kentucky and the surrounding states since 1983. We are seeking a highly motivated and flexible Utility Worker to join our team in the Louisville area. This full-time position performs the general maintenance of the facility and small projects to ensure the overall physical and functional condition of the building and equipment.

It also requires warehouse duties like organizing incoming supplies, loading orders onto trucks, and delivering orders. Hours: Mostly M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Duties/Responsibilities: Inspects and identifies equipment or machines in need of repair. Troubleshoots issues to determine necessary repairs. Performs general repairs that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include painting and repairing vacuum cleaners and building fixtures. Performs routine maintenance on the building. Cleans and assists with the upkeep of the facilities. Laundry (rags and mops) - No folding Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and managers. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work in hot and cold weather. Must be able to pass a drug test and possess a clean driving record. License and Experience: Valid driver’s license. Related experience preferred. On-the-job training offered.

Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at a time.
